For most of her childhood, Vivienne Jolie was photographed in circumstances few children could ever imagine: traveling beside Angelina Jolie, attending premieres, visiting movie sets and growing up inside one of Hollywood’s most scrutinized families. But at 18, one of her latest public appearances looked strikingly ordinary.
There was no red carpet and no Hollywood entourage.
Instead, Vivienne spent the day behind a small booth at a local Los Angeles street fair, personally selling artwork she had created. And standing beside her was someone particularly important in her life — her twin brother, Knox. (People.com)

The teenager displayed her work under the name “The Tulip Fields.” Her booth included original illustrations alongside prints, stickers and handmade birthday cards, with some pieces reportedly priced between $10 and $25. (People.com)
Rather than simply lending her famous name to the project, Vivienne was photographed working the booth herself, speaking with visitors and handling sales.
Some of the artwork was playful and whimsical: reports described a gray mouse embracing a large pink heart, an octopus surrounded by fish and a humorous birthday card featuring an E.T.-like character dressed in a pink tutu and ballet shoes. (Amica)

And she didn’t do it alone.
The young man beside her was Knox
The “important man” who appeared at Vivienne’s booth wasn’t a mystery boyfriend or celebrity visitor. It was her twin brother, Knox Jolie, who was born alongside her in July 2008.
Knox reportedly helped Vivienne set up the booth and remained with her during the event. He was also photographed taking pictures of his sister as she worked. (Amica)

Earlier this year, the twins were photographed during another ordinary outing in California, stopping at a bookstore together in Santa Monica. Vivienne has already shown that fame isn’t necessarily her goal
Her interest in creative work didn’t begin with the street fair.
When Angelina Jolie became involved with the Broadway production of The Outsiders, Vivienne worked on the production as an assistant. She was notably credited as Vivienne Jolie, rather than Jolie-Pitt.
At the time, Angelina described her daughter as someone who wasn’t trying to become the center of attention, but who took her work seriously and wanted to support other creative people.
That made the teenager’s appearance behind an art booth feel surprisingly consistent with the personality her mother had previously described.
Vivienne has experienced acting, too. At just five years old, she appeared alongside her mother in Maleficent, playing the young Princess Aurora.
But instead of building a conventional acting career afterward, she largely disappeared from movie screens.
Her recent interests have taken her behind the curtain on Broadway and now behind a table covered with her own drawings and paintings.
At 18, another major change is unfolding
Vivienne’s artistic project arrives at a significant moment in her personal life.
She has filed a petition seeking to legally change her name from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie. According to court information reported by People, a hearing is scheduled for November 2. The stated reason in the paperwork is personal. (People.com)
Other children in the former couple’s family have also taken steps involving the Pitt surname, although the circumstances and legal status differ among the siblings. Shiloh legally changed her surname to Jolie in 2024. (People.com)

There was simply Vivienne, her artwork, customers stopping to look — and Knox standing beside his twin sister as she tried something new.

For years, the public knew Vivienne primarily through the two enormous names attached to her: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. At this little Los Angeles booth, however, she wasn’t promoting either parent’s work.
She was selling her own.
